Like many out there, I spent my days in contemplation and my nights gazing at the stars with awe and wonder. An inner voice came into shape and spoke to me regularly from an early age. It led me through a truly special childhood with a big family and many little adventures. Trauma muffled that inner voice and I had become a misguided adolescent in a confused world. Fear and distraction took center stage. In an attempt to sort out the noise and unearth my clarity, I turned to substances, women, money, and everything else that could help me forget my mortality for a moment. Upon surrendering to my vulnerability and breaking my chains from substances, the fog began to dissipate. I spent the following 5 years helping people with disabilities and counseling those who continue to struggle with mental health and active substance use disorder. To my surprise, I discovered that my healing was far from over. I walked away from my career in pursuit of this inner voice and clarity has begun to unfold. I begin this journey with a particular higher power in mind. I invite you to hold your own and engage accordingly. Unlike many of those who seek to convert others to their beliefs, I believe that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has created many colors and beliefs to work together in painting this beautiful picture. The only thing I know for myself is that my God is my only door to eternal life. That is for me and my door. The hope is to hear from all walks of life and your doors to eternal life. Let us agree on one thing: "No one knows enough to be a pessimist." - Wayne Dyer.

The Set Aside Prayer
Dear God, please help me set aside everything I think I know - about myself, my mortality,... my fellowship, all spiritual terms, and especially about you God - so I may have an open mind and a new experience. Please help me see the Truth. Amen.
